UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) wants to conclude, on behalf of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), a framework agreement for small construction, mechanical and electricity works worth GBP 500,000.00 by project. UK SBS manages this procurement process in accordance with the 2015 Public Contracts Regulations (modified from time to time) (the « regulations »). This is an operating framework agreement that is part of the regulations relating to the opening of the business. The duration of the framework agreement is three years with an extension of a one-year option (3-1) from the start of the framework agreement. The duration of the framework agreement is three years with an optional extension of a one-year period (3-1) from the start of the framework agreement. The framework contract is the NEC4 futures contract, Option A, and the intention is for projects to be spent on a mission basis. There are many people with STFC, new constructions, extensions, small jobs, etc. Over the next five years, an additional 10,000 square metres of GIA could be added to the estate.

Our facilities are new and old, traditional and unique. The client must cooperate with up to three contractors capable of demonstrating and providing a high volume of small construction projects (including design and construction) and smaller construction projects up to 50,000 pounds and the capacity to deliver projects up to GBP 500,000. Every successful contractor is expected to be able to carry out mechanical, electrical (including high voltage) and civil engineering projects. For example, a complete replacement of building heating, the installation of new transformers or switching devices, and all projects ranging from replacing old concrete floors to building belts, walls and small buildings.
